When I realized that many consumers want personalized home services at their door step and not wanting to go out and book appointment at salon or spa at their availability, a simple idea was born. What if an independent professional with free time could help you with any service at your house or convenient place?
As I began talking with these professionals who are hair stylist, manicurist or waxing specialist, they kept telling me the same thing over and over again, "the salons or beauty shops Im working at is paying me very little." It turns out that these salons or beauty shops that charge $30+ for single beauty service are usually only paying somewhere close to minimum wage to their professionals. I decided to remove these beauty shops whether its for hair, nail, or wax, and reverse the equation by empowering skilled professionals in these areas to earn extra income and make a better life for themselves.
From this idea, I created FancyMi, an online and mobile app that connects people who want to book an appointment at their convenient place with the experienced and screened professionals.
FancyMi is delivering these services at your door step in Northern NJ, and has plans to be in every major city in the USA within 24 months.
